For illustrator Kalinina, art has always been a part of life. “My parents are artists, so I was surrounded by creativity from the start,” she says. As a child, she would draw on anything she could find - so much so that her dad built her a special wall just for her early masterpieces.

Her unique style grew from years of experimenting, especially during art school, where she explored different techniques and materials. Inspired by Japanese animation, Disney, and Korean comics, she eventually developed the distinct look her fans love today.
With a growing online following, she created The Drawing Club - a cozy, creative space shared through her Instagram, @kkkalinina.art. “I wanted to connect with people who love art as much as I do”.

Kalinina’s advice to new artists? “Don’t wait to be perfect - just create. No one’s watching as closely as you think.”
She starts each piece with a bit of sunlight, coffee, and chocolate. And on low-motivation days, she reminds herself that “inspiration comes in the process.” One of her dream projects -creating a coloring book - is already underway. She also hopes to publish an illustrated book based on her dreams someday.

As for fun extras, she’s just released a collection of keychains featuring her artwork. “My nephew covered his whole shirt in them,” she laughs. They’re up on Etsy under TKKKartist.
