About ArtSpark

Hi, my name is Lukas and I am the founder of ArtSpark, a paint by numbers company focused on helping people relax and reconnect with creativity through paint by numbers kits. Before this, I worked as a data analyst in my home country. The job was well respected and well paid, and my family was proud and happy for me—sadly, I was not. Can you relate? I also saw the same emptiness in the eyes of many freshly graduated students…

This really bothered me, because it did not make sense. We’re living in a world where opportunity is more abundant than ever. We are free to travel, enjoy life, and feel happy. So I turned on my Sherlock Holmes brain and started investigating. I watched people in their day-to-day life—colleagues, friends, and the random faces we all see every day.

After some time, I noticed a very interesting and disturbing pattern. It goes something like this:

1. A person’s attention is focused on whatever they are doing (job, study, etc.).
2. They get a free minute for themselves.
3. They get sucked into their phone, giving away their free time to social media.

The answer to our unhappiness might not be obvious at first glance, but when you think about it, it’s really simple:

We are not spending enough time with ourselves!

I decided to test my theory. I started reading, meditating, and doing one of my favorite hobbies to this day: paint by numbers. Shockingly, it worked! I felt centered, calm and—most importantly—happy. I wanted to share this hobby with others, and ArtSpark was born.

ArtSpark: Who are we?

We are a small business that started offering paint by numbers kits in early 2020. We actively promote technology-free, quality time—simple, mindful moments that help you slow down and create something beautiful.
