How did your journey with art and handmade crafts begin? Was there a specific moment or spark?
I've always been into art and fashion — I went to art school and studied textile design in the United Kingdom. But during Covid, I picked up crochet just for fun... and got completely hooked hehe. That’s when I started mixing art with craft, and it all just clicked.

Your style feels both earthy and magical — how would you describe your visual language?
I’d call my style magical kitsch — it’s bright, textured, playful, and a little bit weird (in the best way). I’m obsessed with bold colors, clashing patterns, and mystical creatures. It’s all about creating a world that feels both earthy and enchanted. My visual language came from countless hours of experimenting, drawing, crafting, messing up, and trying again — and honestly, I can’t wait to see where it evolves next.
What inspired you to start @craftyloop.stories as a creative brand, and how has it evolved over time?
I started @craftyloop.stories just by sharing my art and handmade sweaters — no big plan, just creating and posting what I loved. But over time, I realized I wanted to do more than just show my work — I wanted to help people make their own magic. That’s when I started designing crochet and embroidery patterns, and now I get to help people all over the world create one-of-a-kind sweaters and clothing. It’s the coolest feeling.

Sustainability is at the heart of what you do — how do you bring eco-conscious values into your creative process?
I’m all about thrifting and upcycling — turning old clothes into something totally new and fun. It’s not just better for the planet (less waste, less overconsumption), but it’s also budget-friendly and honestly super relaxing. That’s why I love teaching people how to upcycle their old pieces into cool, wearable art. Sustainability doesn’t have to be boring — it can be bold, creative, and full of personality.

What materials do you love working with the most, and why?
I try to keep my mind and heart open to all kinds of materials. The moment I tell myself I should only work with one thing, I feel like I close the door to growth. Exploring different mediums — from yarn and fabric to paints, thread, and canvas — keeps me curious and evolving. I love letting the material guide the process and surprise me.
Can you share a detail in this collection with Artspark that holds special meaning to you?
I absolutely loved this collab with Artspark! I’ve been such a fan of the brand, so working together and seeing it grow has been really special. The ideas for this collection came so naturally — I kept thinking about all kinds of people, their personalities, their homes, cozy craft nights, date nights… and what would be fun to paint in those moments. I wanted to bring in bright colors, magical creatures, and a playful spirit. My hope is that it gives people a little spark of freedom, fashion, and everyday magic.

What’s one habit, ritual, or practice that helps you stay grounded and creative?
Creating a lot without overthinking is my go-to ritual. When I stop trying to control every detail and just let my hands move, something magical happens. It quiets my mind and helps me reconnect with myself — that’s when the real creative flow kicks in.
If someone is just starting to explore slow living or sustainable creativity, what advice would you give them?
It might sound cliché, but seriously — put down your devices and just start making things with your hands. Slow creativity is such a powerful way to ease anxiety, calm your thoughts, and feel more present. Try reusing or remaking old stuff you already have, and turn it into something new. Even better — make a night of it with friends or loved ones. Crafting doesn’t have to be perfect to be healing.
